I can only tell this place is one of the best Korean Fried chicken in LA you should visit. The food is great and the staff is very knowledgable with the food they serve, not to mention service is exellent.
A very unassuming Korean Fried Chicken spot in downtown! Dropped in for a quick lunch and opted for their Boneless Whole Chicken with Garlic and Sweet & Spicy as our two flavors. So crispy, juicy, and tender! Definitely hit the spot. We were super surprised to find that every piece was dark meat. Even my friend who is a die hard bone-in advocate, admitted that these boneless wings were pretty darn delicious! Of the two flavors, Sweet & Spicy was definitely our favorite! It had a great tangy kick to it and despite it being saucy, the wings still maintained some of its crispiness.

I've been craving some Korean Fried Chicken for a while! I didn't want to drive all the way to Koreatown so I decided to look around downtown to see if there was a local spot near by. I happened to find Kokio Chicken, which was located on the outskirts of the fashion district! I came in and saw all the delicious offerings and decided to get some drumsticks and a chicken sandwich. They had so many delicious sauces to choose from but I decided to go for the sweet and spicy! Love that the food is made fresh, and only when you order it! The fried chicken came out piping hot, and even though it was doused in sweet and spicy sauce, you still got a nice crunch in every bite! The chicken sandwich smelled delicious, super buttery and sweet! It was filled with a nice slaw, radishes and special sauce. Really glad to have found such a delicious chicken spot near me. Will definitely come back, can't wait to try their rice cakes!
A very hidden gem. A little bit of a hole in the wall but trust me this is a great spot for Korean fried chicken. Super crispy and delicious! I've always wanted to try a yummy Korean fried chicken spot and finally found kokio chicken in DTLA. Their honeybee sauce is my favorite and it's a must with the chicken wings. You can either do on the chicken or on the side. I opt in for on the side so I can put as much sauce as I need/want. Waffles fries are also so crispy and flavorful. Highly recommend the wings plate with waffle fries and honeybee sauce. 10/10 meal!
I'm a big fan of Korean chicken and its been a bit of chellenge to find a good K- fried chicken around DTLA. I ordered chicken tender with sweet and spicy sauce on the side, drove home and it was still hot and crispy!! Crunchy outside and tender inside, each piece was much bigger then any other place I've been. I ate 4pieces and I'm already full. I ate the rest of chicken later night and it was cold, but still crunch and good. I love this place and the owner was very kind.
BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN DTLA !!!! If you have not tried this place, please do! You will not be disappointed. We ordered the half & half chicken wings that came with 20 pieces total. You get a 10 piece original and a 10 piece (your choice flavor) honeybee. The chicken is fried to PERFECTION! Crispy flaky skin on the outside and undeniably juicy chicken on the inside! Honeybee flavor is definitely delicious, and it's own special flavor, while the original it it's own unique flavor as well. I definitely tasted a hint of honey and I truly enjoyed both flavors and will always come here when I'm craving fried wings! I look forward to trying other flavors and especially want to come back for their Tteokbokki! Highly recommend!
